合宿は常に全国規模となります。それは、聴こえない人が少数派で、練習をするには全国からかき集めてこないと、人数が足りないからなんです。

2026年５月10日、神奈川相模原ギオンスタジアムで、今秋行われる第三回デフラグビー世界セブンズに出場内定した５選手が、ダイナボアーズ対D’rocksのキックオフ前に、ピッチからスタンドに向かって挨拶した。
また、グラウンド周辺で行われていたイベント広場で“デフラグビー体験会”を開催し、スクラムを押すタイミングを手の合図で行うなどの、デフラグビーに必要な動きを解説して、視覚的なサポートが必要なことを啓発した。何より子供たちがデフ選手との触れ合いを楽しんでいたのがとても良い体験の機会になっていた。
On May 10, 2026, at Kanagawa Sagamihara Gion Stadium, five players who have been provisionally selected to compete in the 3rd Deaf Rugby World Sevens this fall greeted the stands from the pitch before the kickoff of the Dynaboars vs. D’rocks match.
Additionally, a “Deaf Rugby Experience Session” was held in the event plaza near the stadium. The session explained the movements required for Deaf Rugby—such as using hand signals to indicate when to push in a scrum—and raised awareness of the need for visual support in Dear Rugby. Above all, it was a wonderful experience to see the children enjoying their interaction with the Deaf athletes.
