2023年 11月、クワイエットタイフーンはフィジーへの強化を目的とした遠征へ向かいました。それを出迎えるように大型サイクロンが襲来、一時は試合開催も危ぶまれましたが、奇跡的に試合時間には天候が好転、２試合目には勝利することが出来ました。
当時は選手層も薄く、セブンズに８人の選手しか派遣出来ず。さらに主力の大塚選手が１試合目に負傷退場し、フィジー側より２人借りて臨みましたが、結果的に日本選手だけで勝利を掴めました。
また、教会での礼拝やデフクラブでのロヴ（食材と焼いた石を土に埋めて調理する伝統料理）のディナーなど、交流もはかれました。ご覧ください

In November 2023, the Quiet Typhoon traveled to Fiji on a training tour aimed at strengthening their rugby skills. At the same time, a major cyclone struck Fiji, and for a while, it was uncertain whether the matches would even take place. However, miraculously, the weather improved by kickoff time, and the Quiet Typhoon managed to secure a victory in their second match.
At the time, the team had a thin roster, and only eight players were able to participate in the sevens matches. Furthermore, key player Otsuka was forced to leave the field due to injury during the first match. Despite these various challenges, they managed to secure a victory.
They also engaged in cultural exchange activities, such as attending church services and enjoying a dinner at a Deaf club.
